@Billcom Customer Tip – Automate Your Billing

August 26, 2011

Spending Monster_invoicing hours invoicing customers, sending reminders and tracking paper checks? Use Bill.com Receivables to automate in 3 easy steps:

1) Recurring Invoices: Just tell us when you want the invoices to be created and we do it for you. We can even automatically send them via email to your customers.

2) Auto Reminders: Just tell us when (before or after your invoice is due) and enter a custom message and we will remind your customers to pay you. If they still forget, we will remind them up to 3 times if you want.

3) Auto Payments: Either you or your customer enter the bank account and/or credit card information and the invoices get automatically paid up to a maximum amount you or your customer specify.

Great job! Now just sit back and relax. The money will show up in your bank account in 2 business days. You don’t have to do anything else. What can be better than that?!!!

  1. Bullet #1 says: “…We can even automatically send them via email or US mail to your customers.” How do you automatically set a recurring invoice to send via US mail? It isn’t clear how to do so when compared to a non-recurring invoice.

    Hi Avery,
The post was corrected. You can only set up a recurring invoice to send via email. If you have any other questions please contact support@hq.bill.com. Thank you.
