Bill.com Helps Canadians Get Paid, Despite the Canada Post Lockout

June 17, 2011

Wednesday, June 15, Canada Post suspended operations across the country.  As a result, mail delivery to Canada has been interrupted and no one is sure yet when it will be restored. This impacts our customers who frequently send check payments to Canadian vendors using Bill.com.

Bill.com has been keeping a careful eye on the situation and when the lockout occurred, we were ready with a backup plan. We are offering special check processing and UPS services to customers for Canadian vendors, until mail service is running smoothly again.

For updates on the lockout, check this website: canasapost.ca . For assurance that Bill.com is working to make things easy and convenient, no matter the circumstance, you need to do nothing – we have your back!

If you have checks currently in transit to Canada, check Bill.com's Uncashed Checks report to learn whether these checks have cleared. If not, or if you are planning to send payments to Canada in the near future, contact us for options!
